AC Milan thrash Man Utd

AC Milan tonight defeated Manchester United 3-0 to prevent an all English final and instead we have a repeat of the 2005 final between Liverpool and AC Milan. First half goals by Kaka and Seedorf put AC Milan in the driving seat and a second half goal by Gilardino ensured their place in Athens for the final. Full match report can be read here

Fans of both clubs will looking forward to an exciting final and hoping to get tickets and make the journey out to Athens. If you are hoping to go it's best to book your air tickets and accommodation as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Liverpool in Champions League Final

Liverpool last night knocked Chelsea out of the Champions League in a penalty shoot out to once again reach the final. After trailing 1-0 from the first leg Daniel Agger levelled the match during the first half of this tie. That was the only goal of the night and the game went to penalties. Pepe Reina, the Liverpool goalkeeper, was the hero of the night saving penalties from Arjen Robben and Geremi. Full match report can be read here

After an epic semi-final thoughts are now turning to the final in Athens on 23 May against either fierce rivals Manchester United or AC Milan. With tens of thousands of Liverpool fans expected to travel to Athens to see the final air flights and accomodation will quickly be booked up.
